Accessibility

A word usually connected to severe handicaps.

However many people have minor HCs that will be barely noticeable, yet impact their day to day life.
We're not only talking motor-esque HCs that affect walking etc, but also visual and audiotory HCs.

But luckily we live in the 21st century... Surely there are solutions for all of these, right ?
Yes and no
Colorblindness and similar skewed optic HCs are oftentimes blessed with fixes in settings etc of games and OperatingSystems
Audiofixes are often a simple "mono" fix
However, to name a not so obvious example
(Even Otitis Media' - which can cause hearing impairment is a factor ! (And can hit virtually anybody!))
One sided hearing loss is a problem that is not fixable in all devices

To relieve this temporarily, you'd have to have the option to "shift the audio balance, systemwide

[System: iOS: Has the option, Windows: Has the option, Android: Only with Android 10/Q, Samsung Devices ? Built in !, Nintendo Switch: No option]
[Apex Legends: No option, Most Nintendo Games: No option]
Hardware workarounds also exist...

This is but a simple example, but it shows quite effectively how overlooked such simple measures are.

The only advice at this point is to try and contact the vendor\manufacturer and hope they can implement this feature

However this only works in software space

Try walking around your city and see how often "Braille" is appended for the ones without sight:

As with everything regarding Disability

Not nearly often\abundantly enough..

Wanna help out in aiding the HC'd ? How bout being a Content Transcriber ?

2023 and nothing changed
-> Contacting several outlets yielded: nothing.. ([multiple ApexLegends devs, one Artis for NC], [ Nintendo directly via multiple mails etc]
