Then again, with nowadays streaming services, people have access to more shows, in an easier manner than ever before.
Leading to them consuming more and more shows on end,
leaving the question: "Is there still a place for an "all time favorite" ?
If I talk to some of my peers or old friends, I'm inclined to say "probably not for everyone"
As kid, it was easy, you saw something, it impressed you (as you lacked comparison material), it was your fav
the older you get however, you start to "see the strings" and start comparing everything to everything
Even such simple thing as "Disney movies" are so abundant (Basil, Swanprincess, Hunchback are my fav incase you wondered),
(As for fav Anime
Movies: Josee to Tora to sakana tachi, Koe no Katachi aswell as MilleniumActress)
that you have to wonder once again "How to stack them up".
All in all, I would implore you not to
watch everything you get across, and enjoy what is yours to enjoy.
Being "In the know" and able to talk with others about the "next best thing", is nice
Just make sure, not to bend over backwards for others...
